Participants are chosen through a highly selective process, ensuring that each Apprentice embodies the dedication and excellence Broadway Dreams represents. Apprenticeships come with a clear set of weekly responsibilities that demand precision, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. Performance Apprenticeship
Performance Apprenticeship
- Assisting faculty members with classroom activities and production needs.
- Taking detailed notes during sessions to support faculty and students.
- Coordinating and managing students to ensure smooth transitions between activities (“student wrangling”).
- Supporting daily scheduling and program logistics.
- Completing additional administrative and production tasks as required.
Directing Apprenticeship
Directing Apprenticeship
The Directing Apprenticeship is a leadership opportunity designed for individuals actively pursuing theatrical direction, with a demonstrated level of moderate to advanced experience.
Directing Apprentices work closely with Broadway Dreams faculty, gaining hands-on experience in the creative process while assisting with:
- Developing and staging musical numbers.
- Supporting faculty in the rehearsal process.
- Performing essential administrative and production tasks as needed.
This apprenticeship offers a highly selective and immersive experience. It is ideal for aspiring directors eager to refine their craft, build professional networks, and contribute meaningfully to the artistic vision of Broadway Dreams.
Musical Direction Apprenticeship

- Annotating and developing musical arrangements.
- Preparing and making musical copies.
- Supporting rehearsals and assisting with other production tasks as needed.
Choreography Apprenticeship

- Assisting in the development, rehearsal, and staging of dance numbers.
- Providing support during choreography sessions.
- Handling administrative and production tasks as needed to ensure the seamless execution of each performance.
Social Media & Marketing Apprenticeship
Social Media & Marketing Apprenticeship
- Assist with photography and content capture during Broadway Dreams Intensives, rehearsals, and events
- Support the execution of daily social media content
- Support marketing initiatives, including email newsletters, announcements, and promotional materials
- Assist with basic photo and video editing, including trimming clips, adding captions, and formatting content for social media
- Utilise tools such as Canva and basic video editing platforms to prepare content for posting
- Support on-site content needs and day-to-day marketing execution
Company Manangement Apprenticeship
Company Management Apprenticeship
- Communicating effectively with participants, parents, and staff.
- Assisting in the execution of daily operations.
- Performing various administrative tasks as needed to support the program.

Scholarships
At Broadway Dreams, our mission is to dismantle the barriers that stand between talented young people and their dreams in the performing arts. As a charitble trust, we strive to provide youth and young adults of all socioeconomic backgrounds with performance training, life skills building, and mentorship opportunities.
We aim to provide up to 40% of participants a full or partial scholarship so that every Dreamer has the opportunity to access high quality support through intensives, which prepare them artistically and helps to build connections and a pathway to their success in the arts. If financial barriers stand in your way, we’d love to assist.
